Location:
Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Canada
The conference, set against the backdrop of Montreal’s vibrant cultural mosaic, brings together the global pediatric diabetes community to examine how diverse lived experiences can shape innovation in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and precision medicine for youth with diabetes.
JACARDI participation
Within this dynamic and collaborative scientific environment, featuring plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, and thematic group meetings, Giulia Zamagni of IRCCS “Burlo Garofolo”, a member of one of JACARDI’s pilot teams working on labour participation of people living with NCDs, will contribute insights from pilot projects conducted in early 2024. The presentation focuses on a situation analysis based on the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), offering a comparative perspective on stakeholder engagement strategies, contextual barriers and facilitators, and pathways for scaling up innovations. By identifying actionable patterns along these dimensions, the presentation aims to enrich the shared learning on implementing effective, context-sensitive interventions for pediatric diabetes care.
