Migration as a Driver of a Healthy, Racism Free, Multi Ethnic World
Themed “Migration as a Driver of a Healthy, Racism Free, Multi Ethnic World”, the congress positions migration not as a challenge but as a powerful catalyst for fostering inclusive, equitable, and health-promoting societies.
The program features a rich mix of plenary sessions, oral presentations, poster exhibitions, and satellite events, framed around interdisciplinary discourses on how migration intersects with racism, ethnicity, and health equity. Highlights will include dialogues on dismantling systemic racism in healthcare, strategies to close global health equity gaps, and the role of inclusive migration policies in disease prevention and public health resilience.
JACARDI participation
Sinikka Kytö, Co-Leader of JACARDI’s Work Package on Communication and Senior Planning Expert at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) will contribute to the congress by leading a dedicated workshop aimed at introducing key principles of inclusive and accessible communications. The session is designed for academics and professionals working at the intersection of cultural diversity and health, and will offer practical insights into how communication strategies can support equity-oriented health promotion in multicultural settings.
