This year’s European Public Health Conference will feature a wide range of JACARDI contributions highlighting innovative approaches to preventing and managing cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. The programme includes sessions on population screening, health monitoring, reducing health inequalities, building inclusive health systems, supporting labour participation among people living with chronic diseases, and strengthening public health communication across Europe.
As part of JACARDI’s contribution to the conference, the project will co-host the pre-conference Operationalising the Safe Hearts Plan through European Joint Actions on 10 November, exploring how European Joint Actions can support the plan’s implementation.
JACARDI will also contribute to the conference through presentations and workshops covering cardiovascular disease and diabetes prevention, screening of high-risk populations, health monitoring, health equity, and inclusive health systems. The programme will also highlight the implementation of the Safe Hearts Plan and the role of European collaboration in advancing evidence-based prevention and care.
